Discover Weincloud's Key New Features

Released in early 2026, Weincloud V1.5 brings more efficient management tools and useful new features to Weintek's HMI cloud services. This article walks through the key Dashboard and EasyAccess 2.0 updates worth knowing about.

Dashboard Updates

1. Map View — locate HMIs on a map (requires EasyAccess 2.0 activation)

Finding a specific device in a long list gets harder as deployments spread across countries, factories, or sites. The new Map View shows every HMI with location data set under the selected Domain, giving managers a clear picture of where their equipment actually is.

Clicking any HMI icon on the map opens a details panel with:

  • Information: basic identification data — model, name, status, and more.
  • WebConnect: a remote connection launched directly from the map.

2. View HMI Screen inside a project (requires EasyAccess 2.0 activation)

A new View HMI Screen widget can now be added to the Dashboard design area. Built on WebConnect technology, it embeds a WebView or WebVNC screen right inside the dashboard, so unusual data can be checked against the actual on-site machine status without switching apps or platforms.

3. Data API — reuse HMI data for advanced applications

Dashboard now supports an Open Data API. Real-time, historical, and alarm tag data from HMIs can feed into enterprise systems or analytics platforms such as Power BI and Grafana, opening the door to deeper analysis of factory equipment performance.

See the technical documentation for step-by-step setup of a Data API.

4. Analyze Data — dig into specific tag data

Analyze Data now offers two views: Trend Display and Tag History, letting you compare up to five tags side by side. In the History tab under Trend Display, the gear icon in the top-right corner switches on Aggregate Mode, which groups data by time unit — a quick way to spot trends without setting up a full Dashboard project.

Full instructions are in the Analyze Data documentation.

5. Smart Report — AI-generated analysis

The new Smart Report feature lets you pick a target HMI and generate a report in one click. Using the HMI's name, tags, and a prompt, the AI puts together a visual report to help guide project improvements and future decisions.

See the Smart Report Quick Start guide for details.

EasyAccess 2.0 Updates

1. Event Webhook Notifications

EasyAccess 2.0 now adds Webhooks to its notification options. Set up a Webhook with a custom URL endpoint, and HMI events can be routed to web-based enterprise systems or platforms like LINE, Microsoft Teams, and Slack — a more flexible, resilient way to get notified that isn't tied to any single platform staying online.

Webhooks can plug into a wide range of workflows too — forwarding events to an in-house maintenance system or a ticketing tool like Jira to auto-create work orders when equipment issues come up, or sending alarm events straight to an AI agent for immediate troubleshooting suggestions.

See the technical documentation for setting up a Webhook.

2. Command Line Interface (CLI)

Managing dozens or hundreds of HMIs across a factory means repetitive tasks — project updates, VPN connections — that can eat up a lot of manual effort. The new CLI lets you drive EasyAccess 2.0 through scripts instead: project upload/download, backups, and pass-through configuration can all be batched and automated, saving real engineering time.

See the technical documentation to enable CLI.

Beyond these highlights, Weincloud V1.5 also adds custom Dashboard canvas sizes, an improved mobile viewing experience, runtime tag adjustment, and a dedicated management screen for social accounts.
